Three Tips To Help You Benefit From Golf Video Instruction
Golf video instruction can be a powerful tool in helping any golfer improve their handicap. Yet many golfers do not fully benefit from them.
The reason is that their approach is wrong and they are therefore unable to benefit from the practical advice and tips received through golf video instruction.
Here I carry three tips to help you benefit and reap the full rewards from golf video instruction tapes.
A) Watch the whole golf video instruction tape to the end first and then slowly review it starting from the beginning. Quite as you enjoy watching the golf video for the very first time, most of the instructions and tips will hardly be remembered.
Exactly the same thing happens when you read a book whose contents you want to retain....
How Better Course Management Can Lower Your Golf Score
Whether you are just starting to learn golf, or you have been golfing for many years and you're just looking to refine your game, this will provide a good direction of focus for this season.
If you want your score to drop by any significant amount, you should learn to hit your 150 yard club, and learn to hit it very well.
By "hitting your 150 yard club very well", I mean being able to step up to the ball, and KNOW that you can hit any green that is 150 yards away. Every time, any condition, with no pressure.
You need to get to the point in your game where you can hit those 8 or 9 irons very consistently and accurately. Anyone can do this. Believe it or not, 150 yards is not very far away, and most greens these days are very big targets....
Golf Fitness Training Made Easy? And Anyone Can Do It
Golf fitness training might sound grueling, sweaty and a lot of work! Doesn't have to be that way. Now of course I'd be lying to you to say it's easy and you won't have to make a small commitment to stick with it to see results.
But what I am saying is? you can participate in a golf fitness training program with minimal equipment and can do it right in your home or even your office.
With only a stability ball, exercise tubing and a pair of handweights. Grand total? under $60 for your "total golf fitness gym". That's about one months membership to your local club that you'll visit once or twice and never go back (but keep paying every month).
I want you to get that picture out of your head of the "...

A proper golf stance should be about as wide as your shoulders. Make sure your shoulders are aligned at your target. Point your right foot straight ahead and point your left foot slightly to the left. Keep your elbows as natural as possible to maintain a proper golf stance....
What You Should Know About Plyometrics And How It Will Help You Get Longer Drives
One of the main problems for golfers is power. Yep, good old power. It seems simple enough but power can be elusive to most golfers. How could this be? simply everyone is unique in an anatomical sense. Everybody has different muscle tone, muscle development and even bone structure. This could lead to multiple factors that affect power.

Pull, Push or Carry? I'll Carry My Golf Clubs Thanks
I love to play golf and I love to walk the golf course. After all, the Pros walk when they play golf and if walking is good enough for them why not me? Ideally I would love to have a Caddie carry my bag but it's not an option at my golf club. So the question comes down to carry my golf bag or use a push-cart or pull-cart. I've tried them all and I choose to carry my golf clubs. Here are the reasons:
Time - I want to play golf without standing around waiting all the time and most golf courses require you to play at a certain pace in a specified amount of time. With a carry bag I can play at a quicker pace then when using a handcart. To be honest, if I could always hit the ball down the middle it wouldn't make that big a difference, but hey, once in a while my ball flight doesn't go exactly as planned and I occasionally find myself off the fairway....
Simple Golf Warm Up Exercise
Golf warm up you say? Aren't you supposed to rush to the course, pull out the BIG DOG, take a few hacks at it and start your round? Is that what you do? Come on be honest with yourself. If so, what was the result on the first tee? I'll bet it wasn't even a par! Am I wrong?
I don't mean to add too much sarcasm in there, but I want to get your attention to the importance of doing golf warm up exercises to avoid those big numbers the first few holes.
Are you with me? Good.
Now let me talk to you like you're an athlete for a minute. Time to re-live the glory days one more time.
Now remember back in the day when you had a game, meet or competition. Did you run out on the field or court and start playing your sport?...
Golf Strength Training Slows The Aging Process
Golf strength training is critical in slowing down the effects of aging. Issues like rapidly declining strength, flexibility, and endurance. The number of golfers who are middle age or older is growing and they all want to play as long as possible.
In order to both slow the aging process AND play longer, you need adequate levels of strength, flexibility, and other physical abilities.
Golfers (and most others) lose as they age. The cause is quite simple. They do not partake in any form of golf strength training exercises to maintain the fitness levels they had early on in life.
It is NEVER too late to improve strength and flexibility. I have worked with golfers in person and via my websites that are in their 70's and 80's that have almost doubled their current strength and dramatically improved their flexibility (specific to golf)....
Learning To Play Golf With Fitness
Learning to play golf has now become the pursuit of both men and women of different ages. Right from the very young golfers to senior citizens as old as 80 years old or even older.

And that is the fact that those learning to play golf while staying fit and conditioning muscles with golf specific exercise routines have produced spectacular results.

In fact more and more parents are realizing the importance of their kids taking the right approach to learning to play golf....
The Cure for a Fat Shot
This problem may be easier to fix than you think. You may not realize it, but your back shoulder may be dipping towards the ground. This move forces the club to hit the ground too early. Most of the time it happens when you are really trying to get into the ball. Imagine? You're 200 yards out and you've chosen to hit the 4 iron. When you've got it in your head that you have to hit the ball hard to get it there, it's natural tendency to start your downswing with the hips in an effort to "really get into the ball". That may work in baseball, but not in golf.
I'd like to take you through what happens if you make that move in golf. First, get in the your setup position, now take your backswing and hold it at the top....
How To Play Better Golf... It's Not What You Think
Playing better golf is the lifelong pursuit of every golfer on the planet. Why else would we subject ourselves to one of the most humbling games (sport) ever?
I mean, how many times have you come off the course ready to give it up?
I'm dead serious!
You drive home saying never again! But? you go to the range the next day, or even the same day, after you've cooled down.
Man, what a glutton for punishment! Just hours before, you got totally humiliated, and now you're back for more.
The vicious cycle a golfer goes through every season.
So let me guess. You've bought equipment (lots of it). Taken lessons. And pound hundreds of balls every week.
Am I close?
The 6 million dollar question is?...
How The Risk Of Golfer Elbow Injury Can Be Reduced
A golfer elbow injury has got to be one of the most dreaded injuries on any golf course.
And it is not too difficult to figure out why. To begin with a golfer elbow injury will usually take a long time to heal properly and quite often recurs shortly after a golfer gets back to the course. Golfer elbow injury is very similar to tennis elbow, which tennis players equally dread.
It is the sort of injury where a doctor will prescribe total rest well away from the course. For many a keen golfer, this may be even more punishment than the nagging, and often sharp pain from the golfer elbow injury.
The reason why a golfer elbow injury takes so long to heal and in some cases may never really go away, is because it is the sort of injury that involves a joint....
